|
Professionals of the washing and maintenance of textile products have an obligatory date at Paris Expo, Porte de Versailles, hall 8, on 11, 12 and 13 March.
On this occasion the trade show will bring together eighty exhibitors who will occupy an area of five thousand square meters, while the organizers expect about four thousand visitors.Jet 2007 is of interest to all those companies seeking solutions for the cleaning and maintenance of textiles. This show offers three days of information exchange between experts, and opportunity to find reliable answers to the sector’s needs.
Jet 2007 is aimed at the whole group of textile maintenance professionals: companies renting out textiles like work wear or linen – table linen, sets of bed-sheets, towels, bathrobes – those prescribing and buying professional outfits, hotel and catering establishments, private and public hospital facilities, industrial laundries, laundromats, residential institutions for the elderly, dry-cleaning and pressing establishments.
At the forthcoming show, the industrial laundry sector will take the leading role; and, among other factors that currently affect it, its sustained development will be debated. Jet 2007 also reserves a section for professional outfits; meanwhile, the sector of identification, marking and traceability makes its entry into the show for the first time.During the show a program of conferences will be held, centered on the following topics: strategic perspectives for laundry and pressing establishments, plus technical and commercial issues of clothing rental, and of industrial laundering. Three parades of work-wear will be held per day under the slogan of “Clothing as a vector of corporate image.”
The importance that Jet 2007 is going to confer on professional work-wear is entirely justified. At present, it represents over seven million euros in the world market, which corresponds to fifty million users from nineteen countries. In fact, the European market corresponds to 3.6 million euros. With these figures, professional work-wear can already be talked of as a good strategy.
Of a working population of 168 million people within the European Union, around 55% use professional work-wear, within which we can distinguish the corporate image outfits with 35%, work-wear with 45%, PPE with 13% and finally uniforms with 7%.
Jet 2007 also brings together a series of twenty conferences at which maintenance professionals will share their testimonies with those who attend. These conferences will inform on legislation and regulation, new technologies and other current issues for the sector. The following are collaborating at Jet 2007: the Conseil Français de l’Entretien des Textiles, C.F.E.T; the Groupement des Entreprises Industrielles de Services Textiles, G.E.I.S.T; the Chambre Sindícale des Fournisseurs Industriels de la Blanchisserie, Teinturerie, Nettoyage à Sec, Location de Linge et Industries Textiles, FOBLATEX; and the Union des Responsables de Blanchisseries Hospitalières, URBH.
