III Asintec Meeting for experts in fabrics and smart fabrics

Asintec is a textile Technological Center, currently planning the IIIrd Meeting for experts in Technical Fabrics, to be held from May 9th to 11th.
Due to the interest this organization has in the promotion of the event, they are contacting media in the textile and clothes-making sectors to communicate their news to companies, associations and professionals.
“Technical fabrics” or “Smart fabrics” are terms used to refer to technology applied to the textile field, which in turn represents fabrics developed to include special properties or performance. This, in general, means that fabrics have additional properties that allow for reactions against a number of events which may include thermal conditions, mechanic, electric or magnetic impact. The fabric needs then to be able to convey information or respond in a specific manner.
Asintec is aware of growing perspectives in European markets, and mostly with reference to “Thermal fabrics” looks forward to congregating a good number of experts and companies seeking to integrate solutions to fabrics. Participants in this event will of course include professionals and experts internationally known.
The forum will be an ideal setting for receiving and sharing information on three major areas: 1. Application of smart fabrics for leisure and sports apparel; 2. Technical fabrics for personal safety, protection and workwear; 3. The significance of smart fabrics in the health-care and medical sectors.
