Angel Asensio, new President of Fedecon

Angel Asensio was designed as President of FEDECON in January. The news was anticipated for during the General Assembly of FEDECON in December 2005, the former president, Pablo García, had announced his intention of leaving this position vacant.
Angel Asensio is qualified for Marketing and Management Executive (ESIC) positions and well-known in Madrid business circles, with a long history as head of Kiff-Kiff, and know for his expertise and service vocation. Since 1996 he is the President of Asociación de Confeccionistas de Madrid (ASECOM), and up until this date, he filled the position of Vice President of FEDECON. Also, since 2002 he represents the clothes making sector with the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Over the past few years, Angel Asensio has shown himself as a promoter of international business for Spanish clothes making companies. His basic aim is that of promoting Spanish fashion in international markets.
