Projob landed in Spain two years ago, but even in this short period of time, invoicing levels doubled. “Today, Spain is the third largest market for our brand name”, states Toni Vara, Product Manager for Projob. This spectacular growth rate is surely base don the differentiated design of products by this brand, developed in Sweden, always in tune with trends and offering clothing that is also suitable for leisure time.
The company operates through a network of agents who visit distributors, who in turn deliver products to end clients. In Spain their products are also sold at retailer stores to end consumers.
Projob has a number of product lines in the high-range category, all addressing a number of sectors: construction and works, transportation and services, outdoor work – with thermal and breathable products -, restaurants, hi-visibility and accessories. End clients range from small businesses and independent professionals to large multinational corporations.
We want to learn the way in which Projob works in order to meet the needs of customization, for many companies want workwear to show their corporate image. “We work with textile markers to customize products, and as from a given volume, our Trading Department can develop exclusive models”, says Toni Vara.

A good image and comfortable clothing mean improved performance at work Toni Vara then tells us more about this brand: “The highest quality, ergonomic design, great functionality, and an excellent image. As an added value, all items are produced following environmentally friendly procedures, and following high ethics standards. Moreover, in the medium term, users find that Projob clothing means lower costs, for it lasts so much longer. As workers feel comfortable and looking good, they perform much better as well, and turnover rates are reduced”. As to delivery services, Toni Vara says, “In 90% of the cases we will have products in stock in Barcelona. Our warehouse there extends over five thousand square meters, so we can delivery orders immediately”. the company has a sales network covering all of Spain.

Up until now, Projob’s marketing actions have been focused on products in particular, with ads showing products and services. Their advertising campaigns appear in prestigious publications in this sector, and clients receive additional information and material at points of sale.

As to the evolution of workwear in Spain, Toni Vara points out: “There are more and more companies with an awareness of image as part of our culture, and they also seek to offer their workers comfortable clothing, for this in turn results in higher profitability rates and increased competitiveness at the workplace”.
Finally, regarding their expectations for 2008, he adds, “We have great expectations, for our foundations are firm and we will be able to grow and attain our goals over a short period of time. But we never rush. Every step is carefully studied”.
